September Stitch Fix

September Stitch Fix

I just got my September Stitch Fix!!  This one was as good as the one I had one year ago, which was my last one that I purchased .And what is great …..And what is great, they sent things that match previous fixes!!!!

I actually have had the entire time the same stylist Shayna has been fabulous and getting what I like in my style. I’ve pinned a lot of things on Pinterest and she pays attention .

I’ll start by showing you some of the stitch fix items along with the style cards they send with it

So, item number one ….

These are some very comfy joggers.  On a day off of not doing much of anything, I love to throw on a pair of joggers and a really cute T-shirt. You don’t get more comfortable than a pair of knit joggers. As you can see here they have styled it in a variety of options with a bodysuit and canvas Tennies along with a jacket or a sleeveless top and a denim jacket nice way to pair it up with just about anything

Price $ 44.00

2.  So I did ask for something purple, it’s not a color that I have much of in my closet… But I feel like it’s a color that I look pretty good in with my skin tone this is kind of a medium shade of purple that could go with lighter colored denim gray black white and I can certainly add some beautiful scarves to it

It’s a cold shoulder style which I actually love and don’t have many of them in a short sleeve it’s a good transitional item into fall

Price $ 28.00 great price

3. Next up…I had asked for a bell sleeve top and possibly a floral or a purple, and Shaina was able to fix me up with a nice one in shades of pink and blue I’ve got some wonderful skinny pink denim that will  go great with this adorable top. It’s not a long length such as a tunic it’s a little bit shorter which would actually show off a waist line with some higher waist denim

Price $ 44.00

okay now for 4 and 5

These are both great tops,  however, I really wanted them in the next size up . I was sent an extra large and since they were both a button front ,when I put them on I saw a little bit of gapping on the chest. So I asked for a slightly longer check out date and was able to secure an XXL and I feel that’s the size I will need I just don’t feel very good with any gapping on a button front blouse I know you understand how I feel.  All I have to do is put them in the prepaid mailer send them back and they will send my replacements for the size I need that is pretty fabulous

4. This is a beautiful mustard plaid tunic top. I had asked for something in the gold or mustard tone, and Shaina delivered! I cannot wait to wear this with some black leggings or black denim with some boots it is a perfect fall outfit to throw a cardigan on overtop for those chilly days!!

And I have a great vest to wear with us to and in all of anorak jacket can’t wait for my fall vacation to wear this one

Price $ 44.00

Number five absolutely has to be my favorite overall. I had asked for something and a cranberry or wine color. This one is a very different button up tie front blouse oh my goodness, I can wear this with so many things different times of the year . It is a cream dot pattern on cranberry background.  I can wear this with black white light denim gray just about anything and I have lots of cute necklaces to match!!

Look how adorable that is !!

Price $ 42.00

So you know when you get your Stitch Fix box, And before you open it, you think, Gee, I hope I like or five things because I know I’m going to get that awesome discount if I keep everything. I can’t wait to try it all on and post pics of them !!!

What I Wore Today..

I Love Clothes! I can’t Help Myself….

So, I really love clothes, and clothes shopping. Although I get a lot of apparel in stores, I also order online.

As you can see from my affiliate link, I offer you some of the stores I love to shop from too.

StitchFix is my favorite shop at home service, When it comes to buying trends, I like ModLily, Kohl’s, Target, FashionMia, Clarks, Born and Zappos. All great selection with a variety of styles.

What I wore today was a Kohl’s outfit, Lauren Conrad periwinkle top , Sonoma tan denim capris and Payless sandals.

A Blue Day

I love the Payless sandals that were dirt cheap. I could not pass up the Lauren Conrad periwinkle blue tee with linen front, the necklace I had, although I am sure it is SOnoma or Vera Wang, went perfectly….and my Sonoma Goods For Life capris.

Here is what else I found today at Target, grat fall colors, though I am not ready, they could work transistionally too!!

Target new tops!! Fall Colors

I can’t wait to wear both of them. Especially the off shoulder one. I am loving the cold shoulder look, even at age 53, I do not think I look or dress that age!

Whoops, another Lauren Conrad top and capris in wine….

I wanted to add a posting of my Stitch Fix invoice that I received on my fifth stitch fix. See below and you too can see how you can enjoy the benefits of stitch fix by referring friends! They also gave me a waiver of my 20 styling fee this time!! Win Win!!!

It ended up being free after I returned the shoes I disliked so much!! They still gave me the 25% as if I purchased everything, now, that’s customer service!!!

I have received so far, three Stitch Fix boxes for FREE!!!!

Stitch Fix #5 Unboxing, I Can’t Wait!!!

Stitch Fix #5 Unboxing, I Can’t Wait!!!

I will be receiving my fifth Stitch Fix box today. I put in a lot of detail on what I would like to see this time in my box. If you want to try Stitch Fix, click on one of the Stitch Fix pics in my advertisers and it will take you to their site to try it. I have referred 79 people so far, and I love the convenience of it. I work a lot, and rarely have the kind of time to shop, nor, do we have the styles here locally in my small town.

My Pinterest had some pretty clear style choices my stylist to review.

I asked for a red blouse of some sort, maybe a white summery dressed up tee. I am really loving the tennis shoes I found at Target I can wear with so many things, so, I requested a grey pair if this Chuck Taylor style. Also, I wanted a light pink or blue pair of pants.

Well, I got my box yesterday , saw there was the little drawstring bag, which means shoes!!! I was super excited, I had not found a grey pair of tennies around here that I really love!

I’m really sad. This is what my stylist Shayna sent. She has styled me four times. And she got this one way wrong!!! Here’s what they really look like compared to my Pinterest ask…

So this blouse is really pretty and it’s red. I rarely buy red be cause you can’t find it anywhere in a cute style. I can’t wait to try it on with these below.

They are a bright blue and white checkered pattern .

Liverpool fits really well. They sent me a pair before, but, in a shocking pink! These I like really well.

Next in the list Kut from the Kloth cropped pants in a lighter pink. More of a mauve melon?!?

This brand already is known to me and fits AWESOME!!! Going to pair it with a previous top and see how that works.

This is the Honey Punch fringe tee. Cute!Great quality material too. The fringe is a nice added feature.

I wanted to show a better pic of the red blouse. It’s nice material with cold shoulder details with a tie on the end of the sleeve. It’s very pretty.

This is me and my style. I am 53 and love fashion. I like trendy, color , edge in my style.

So, this Stitch Fix was about a C-. Only because, Shayna didn’t really pay attention to my style or Pinterest board on my type of shoes. I have asked to not be penalized and sent them the pics of what style I liked. Everything else is about to be tried on with other items I won. If I like them, I’ll add the pics here to my post.

Stitch Fix #4 3/5 a Win!

So, I got my 4th Stitch Fix box on this past Thursday. I had put a lot of notes in for my stylist, and also asked for some specifics. Although, it was not completely a win, I got some great stuff!!

Checkout my Link to Stitch Fix in the right sidebar along with other shopping opportunities!! Get your Stitch Fix credit too by referring friends after you join!

Mia Flats

Mia Esie Laser Cut Flats

I really like these because the laser cut design is the latest thing, however, cute they may be, but, how many things so I own to wear with them…..uuuummm, one outfit!

So, they went back. Price was really good though, and I asked to not get pointy toes shoes. Yes, they sent them anyway.

I had actually pined this Alice Blue Zinnia top on my Pinterest page. They saw that and sent it to me! I really love this top. It was right for so many things I already have. The picture it here with an olive anorak jacket, which I bought recently on clearance at Kohl’s, so yes, it is a keeper.

I had asked for lighter colors for spring in my fix request. They are from Liverpool and a really great fit , so sad! I do not think these are lighter, not a pastel pink or blue as I had requested. They were a great fit, but, they are way too bright for my taste. They went back with the teal flats!

This pic may nit do the top justice. It is by August Mist, the Paulena Airy Knit Top, cute with many things, jeans, capris etc. Pair it with a long tank though, because it is really airy!! It is a keeper !!

Ok, this is a favorite. I asked for a denim jacket and they provided me with a light wash from Kut from the Kloth. It is perfect!! I mean perfect!! I already wore it because we had a slight cool few days after some rain. Guaranteed, I will wear this to a concert this week as well!

I want to show everyone my invoice too! I have shard Stitch Fix on my blog here, Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus, and I got so much credit. $25 for each person who signed up and had their first box shipped. Lucky me, I love social media!!

I did not keep everything, so, I did not receive the 25% of you keep all 5 discount. However, I only used $144.00 of my credit. I had reached the max limit on credits, now I am doing the affiliate sharing by posting to my blog . You can click on any of the links on the right sidebar.
