Stitch Fix #4 3/5 a Win!

So, I got my 4th Stitch Fix box on this past Thursday. I had put a lot of notes in for my stylist, and also asked for some specifics. Although, it was not completely a win, I got some great stuff!!

Checkout my Link to Stitch Fix in the right sidebar along with other shopping opportunities!! Get your Stitch Fix credit too by referring friends after you join!

Mia Flats

Mia Esie Laser Cut Flats

I really like these because the laser cut design is the latest thing, however, cute they may be, but, how many things so I own to wear with them…..uuuummm, one outfit!

So, they went back. Price was really good though, and I asked to not get pointy toes shoes. Yes, they sent them anyway.

I had actually pined this Alice Blue Zinnia top on my Pinterest page. They saw that and sent it to me! I really love this top. It was right for so many things I already have. The picture it here with an olive anorak jacket, which I bought recently on clearance at Kohl’s, so yes, it is a keeper.

I had asked for lighter colors for spring in my fix request. They are from Liverpool and a really great fit , so sad! I do not think these are lighter, not a pastel pink or blue as I had requested. They were a great fit, but, they are way too bright for my taste. They went back with the teal flats!

This pic may nit do the top justice. It is by August Mist, the Paulena Airy Knit Top, cute with many things, jeans, capris etc. Pair it with a long tank though, because it is really airy!! It is a keeper !!

Ok, this is a favorite. I asked for a denim jacket and they provided me with a light wash from Kut from the Kloth. It is perfect!! I mean perfect!! I already wore it because we had a slight cool few days after some rain. Guaranteed, I will wear this to a concert this week as well!

I want to show everyone my invoice too! I have shard Stitch Fix on my blog here, Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus, and I got so much credit. $25 for each person who signed up and had their first box shipped. Lucky me, I love social media!!

Olive You!

I am all about this new olive trend. I have found the cutest things to go with my Anorak Jacket I found on clearance at Kohls!!

I realized I had a lot more olive that I knew! I had purchased a really cute rayon tunic with a tie up neckline from Martin’s clothing, and a long sleeve tee from Kohls designed by Vera Wang.. I love her long sleeve tees. These are some pics I took from Pinterest, of things I really love!!

Here are some pices I already own. I am realy loving these looks. You can wear the anorak jacket with just about anything from shorts to knit tee dresses. Dress it up or dress it down. TRy it with shorts in a white or distressed denim jeans.

Waiting on My Next Fix

I have been using Stitch Fix for a months now. I watch the videos of different women who have used it as well. They have a look if excitement and you can tell they love someone shopping for them. I thought I would try it to see what different fashion someone might choose for me.

I have been really surprised at how well everything fits. When you complete your profile, you can be specific on sizes and fit. It makes it easier on your stylist to create a grouping just for you!

To start here is an explanation of what it is….

What is Stitch Fix?

Stitch Fix is the first fashion retailer to blend expert styling, proprietary technology and unique product to deliver a shopping experience that is truly personalized for you. Simply fill out the Stitch Fix Style Profile and our personal stylists will handpick a selection of five clothing items and accessories unique to your taste, budget and lifestyle. You can buy what you like and return the rest (shipping is free both ways).

How does it work?

1. Fill out your Style Profile

Begin by filling out the Style Profile. This helps us understand your size, style, shape, budget and lifestyle. Completing your Profile should only take about 10-15 minutes.

2. Pick the date you’d like to receive your shipment

Select a delivery date from the calendar. At the time your Stylist selects your items, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. That $20 will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment.

3. Try everything on in the comfort of your home

We encourage you to try on everything our Stylists have picked for you because you never know what will look great on. Create new outfits by pairing what’s in your shipment with items that are already in your closet.

4. Buy what you like and return the rest

stitch-fix-1

  • Take three days to decide what you’ll purchase and what you’d like to send back. You’re only charged for items you choose to keep when you check out.
  • Check out by logging into your account to pay for the items you want to keep. The $20 styling fee will be applied as credit toward any items you purchase. If you buy all five items, we’ll give you 25% off the entire purchase!
  • Simply return the items you don’t want in our prepaid mailer and drop it into any USPS mailbox. Stitch Fix clients enjoy free shipping both ways as a benefit of using our service.

5. Tell us what you think

Don’t forget to give us specific feedback on each item you receive. We’re able to send you better selections when we know what did and didn’t work for you, and why. Our women’s blog and men’s blog offer tips on the best ways to communicate with your Stylist.

If you choose to receive recurring shipments, we’ll automatically schedule the delivery date for your next shipment. You can always choose an alternative date that better suits your needs or opt out of regularly scheduled shipments entirely. Stitch Fix does not require a membership fee or a monthly subscription.

COST

The cost is a little more, but, the quality and style makes up for it. Not true on every piece, you must make that choice.

How much does it cost?

Our average price point is $55 per item, but we carry a wide variety of prices. When you fill out the Style Profile, you tell us how much you’re comfortable paying. We do our best to pick items that reflect those preferences. If you choose to buy all five pieces, you get a 25% discount off of your entire purchase.

My Style Profile

You get an awesome discount of 25% if you keep everything too! I have put in my style profile, that I do not want jewelry sent in my fix. Normally, I get my accessories on clearance at local stores. So, I do not want to spend a higher price. Put that money into clothing!! You also have the chance to say what else to not send, particular colors, styles, whether you are a pants gal or love dresses. I selected no dresses, it is not my everyday wear. Also, I said no heels, skirts and certain colors that do not flatter me.

Your note to your personal stylist:

I’ve got the colored denim on today!! The Just Black pants I received previously are AWESOME great fit!!! I like a loose or relaxed top not fitted around waist though . No peplum or surplice wrap either Would love to get a cute button up blouse in a print or floral. Maybe a denim jacket lighter color, light color denim for spring, maybe a light pink or pale blue , or perhaps a tan color. No necklaces this time okay? Got my exchange today too. Thanks!!!

You can also choose how often you want your fix! I had it every other month at first. Then I started sharing the link to sign up, I now have the limited credit amount for sharing, and I will be getting three separate fixes for FREE!!!!

They give you these great little style cards that show you different ways to wear the items, and you can match to previous cards for help. Make sure you put a note in for your stylist about the brands you like, fit, etc. They read it and you can use Pinterest to select other style s you might like and link your board to Stitch Fix.
